Tom is imported from Peru.  He was 7 years old on 12-30-2023.  He will produce mostly brindle or piebald puppies.  He weighs 27 lbs.

 

Tom is DNA'd with the American Kennel Club as V860784.  

 

GENETIC  MARKERS:  Tom is negative (or clear) and OFA'd for 4 of the 5 areas that currently are recommended to test for in French Bulldogs:

~ Canine Multifocal Retinopathy Type 1

~ Hyperuricosuria

~ Juvenile Hereditary Cataracts

~ Cystinuria

He is a Carrier (1 marker) for Degenerative Myelopathy.

Please note these are "genetic markers".  Having the marker does not necessarily mean the dog will have the medical problem.  NOT having the marker does not mean he/she WON'T.

But I think it is in the best interest of any breed to try to breed away from genetic markers, and not just ignore them.

The Stud Fee is to be paid in advance of or at the time of breeding.  Vet charges are also the responsibility of the bitch owner, as are shipping fees.

If you are anticipating a breeding, you should be prepared for the event.  Once a girl goes into heat, it could be only a matter of a few days until she is ready to breed.  And you need to "have your ducks in a row", so to speak.

If there is no resultant pregnancy, you will be given a second attempt. Please note you are also responsible for paying the shipping and Veterinary costs for any second attempt.

 

Please know that we will NOT breed to any bitches who are not AKC Registered.

This is not personal. It is a matter of compliance with the Code of Ethics of the French Bull Dog Club of America, and keeping the breed pure.
